I bought the PSP for this game, and i live in Taiwan but i am not from Taiwan so i cannot read or speak chinese and even less japanese, when i saw the MHP2 and the 2nd G in Chinese and japanese i wanted to cry… but thx to you i could patch my original copy of the game

Fantastic work so far. Even at 90%, it’s largely better than the official Capcom MH2 translation. Can’t wait to see what you guys can do at 100%.

May I know what do you mean by acc. All you need to do is when a new version is out, either you can redownload the patcher ot download the Lgg file to replace the old Lgg file.

SoC is down not because Crimson did not pay. I think is something that crash.
As for Crimson, he’s busy with school. Give him some time to read his e-mails i sent him.
Any updates, i will let you guys know. For now we have created a mirror of SoC.

Hey guys, great job so far!! I am currently having difficulties though. I place the ISO in the ISO folder, I place the patch in the GAME folder. I run the patch. It for some reason completes immediately without counting or saying it is installing… and then I run the game and its not any different… Any help will be greatly appreciated ^^

If it says “Patch Complete” but you didn’t see any progress indicators, please check if your iso is read-only. Uncheck the read-only setting.

Hey. First off I want to say that this is awesome of ya’ll to do. I couldn’t ever in a million years. So far I’ve been having troubles, though. The ISO and the patch are in correct places. Read-only is unchecked, and it proceeds smoothly (besides noticing a 22 out of 21 reading at the end) but when I go to run, I get the “game could not be started” error. Not sure why. I’d appreciate any help, thanks~

for the people having the “corrupted data” problem - you have to copy the entire folder (not just the contents inside the folder) and paste in the /psp/game - this worked for me

hi team hgg, i really cant figure out this whole patch thing for monster hunter portable 2G, ive downloaded the zipped file into my psp’s GAME file unzipped it an coppied the file into the GAME file, ran it whilst on my psp and it only gets past the psp opening then says the game could not be started with a code (80020148) help will be much appreciated so could you please email me

EASY INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO PLAY THIS GAME WITH PATCH!
1. Have your psp modded, if it is not, go to psphacks.com or search it on google, ask in the forums or something.
2.get monster hunter 2g it should be a .iso file.
3.put the .iso file in your ISO folder, if your psp is modded put you do not have this folder, create in the same place were the “Music,PSP,Video,Pictures” folders are.
4.download the patch and the installer from the links provided above.
5. unzip both files, one the folders has a file named “english.hgg” or something like that, drop it in the “PapimeruPSPv2.3″ folder and say yes when it asks you to replace it.
6. put the “PapimeruPSPv2.3″ folder in your “GAMES” folder then go to your PSP go to the games folder and run the installer!

Ok, im having a bit of a problem here. For starters i have the 3.52 m33 firmware, a fully functional MHP2G. I placed the english patcher in the psp games folder like it says, when i load of the patcher and select the iso and english, i hit the confirm button, but nothing happens. The game seems to freeze for a few seconds, then my psp just shuts off. How can i fix this problem?

From what I see I don’t think it is possible to transfer characters…..I guess starting over is the option.

u can transfer ur save in forum.then ur save will be imported by people who can do it in that forum.it takes me only 6hours to do that.

Hey Guys, it is possible to transfer character, i did it. You just have to patch your previous MHF2save to jap. Use laboko101 to patch the save game. Seek other forum for the guide on using it.

I own the Japanese version of MH2ndG, but would like to add the english patch. When I download and unzip the patch I place it in PSP/GAME (PSP/GAME/PapimeruPSP/stuff in folder). I keep reading about an .ISO file which my PSP folder does not contain, nor can I find one anywhere (I’ve looked believe me). When I open the language patcher on my PSP it always says “game could not be started (80020148)”. Does anyone have any clue as to what is wrong and how I can fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
